RUSS 0003 - INTERMEDIATE RUSSIAN 1Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Long Description This proficiency-based language course is designed to further broaden students' knowledge of the Russian language and culture. Intended for lower-intermediate level learners, this course supports students in developing their ability to create with the language and to communicate effectively in a variety of typical, uncomplicated situations related to daily life. This course focuses on enhancing students' cultural competence, expanding their vocabulary, and improving their fluency and accuracy in Russian. Students will engage in a range of authentic communicative contexts across all three modes of communication (Interpretive, Presentational, and Interpersonal) by integrating the four core language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Topics may include daily routines, family, friends, studies, student housing, holiday celebrations, food, dining out, and more.
