Long Description This course will provide students with the core knowledge, practices and skills needed to become successful clinical researchers. The course moves from an initial idea through study design, regulatory approvals, implementation, monitoring, and dissemination. Emphasis is on operational planning, regulatory pathways and oversight, budgeting and staffing, site readiness, recruitment/retention logistics, data capture and quality, safety reporting, sponsor communications, and transparency requirements (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov registration and results reporting, data sharing, and records retention). Students will engage with real-world examples and build foundational skills needed to conduct and manage clinical research projects.
