BIOSC 1003 - BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORYMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 Long Description This course immerses students in biochemistry through a hypothesis-driven, authentic research project. Students develop technical competence and scientific reasoning by applying fundamental biochemical techniques such as protein expression, purification, and functional characterization, while emphasizing experimental design, troubleshooting, quantitative data analysis, and record keeping. The course highlights critical thinking, collaboration, professional scientific communication, and the iterative nature of scientific discovery.
