Long Description This course examines human anatomy and physiology through the principles of gender-inclusive biology. Utilizing a systems-based methodology to study function and maintenance, we explore how human physiology transcends traditional binary sex classifications. By analyzing the intersection of biology with contemporary socio-political landscapes, students synthesize biological data and gender studies to recognize diverse physical patterns. Ultimately, the course interrogates how "normal" bodies are socially and scientifically constructed, equipping students with the vocabulary required to engage with these complex and timely discourses.
