ATHLTR 2820 - PRIMARY CARE IN ATHLETIC TRAININGMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 Long Description This 2-credit course introduces athletic training students to common primary care conditions encountered in clinical practice. Emphasis is placed on the recognition, evaluation, and management of conditions across body systems. Students will develop clinical decision-making skills related to referral, interdisciplinary collaboration, and appropriate care within the scope of athletic training practice. The course prepares students to integrate primary care concepts into patient-centered care and optimize health outcomes across diverse patient populations.
