Long Description German for STEM will introduce students to the German vocabulary and phrasing commonly used in the natural sciences through scientific readings, and standard lectures. Some consideration will be given to the borrowing of some of these words from Latin and Greek. We will also highlight some of the significant scientific discoveries derived from the German speaking world. Students will be expected to write a simple protocol that can be used in the laboratory setting. This course is taught in German.
