ECON 0260 - EVERDAY DECISIONS & RATIONALITY: INTRO TO BEHAVIORAL ECONOMICSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Long Description This course introduces the main ideas of behavioral economics and their applications. We will study how evidence on human behavior can improve our understanding of economic choice and social behavior. Topics include decision-making under uncertainty and loss aversion, probabilistic reasoning, time preferences, and social preferences. Applications include choice architecture, public policy, political behavior, and human-AI interaction.
