FMST 1193 - URBAN SCAVENGINGMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Long Description This is a study abroad course taught at the Pittsburgh-London Film Program. This course will give students a critical look at the writing, development, and production of film in the 21st century. Using case studies and examples from the masters of filmmaking in both the United States and the United Kingdom, students will gain in-sight into the nature of production, the economics of making a film, and the potential avenues through which film can be distributed to an audience. This is a Critical Studies course with Production elements and counts for Category III towards the Film and Media Studies major and minor.
