Long Description This course is designed for physical education majors and all students with a desire to learn the how and why of teaching dance in an educational program. Through the lectures the students will cover the educational components of dance, i.e., Dance in education, dance for elementary and secondary schools, dance history and dance resources. The movement lab will introduce the students to the fundamentals of movement.
