DC 3115 - NEUROSCIENCEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course provides an in-depth study of the structure and function of the nervous system. It includes the role of the nervous system in regulating human health and homeostasis; the role of the nervous system in maintaining balance and posture, and the pathophysiology involved in disorders of gait, posture and balance; central and peripheral nervous system plasticity; the neurophysiology of pain and pain mechanisms; and essentials of physiological psychology.
