DC 3171 - CLINICAL PRACTICUM I

Students begin their clinical education with a half-day per week of observation experience in one of the chiropractic clinical education facilities. This may be augmented with multidisciplinary observation within UPMC and the Pittsburgh VA. The goal of this experience is to become familiar with the nature of chiropractic practice. As a preparation for this experience, students will attain certification in HIPAA and CPR/AED. Students maintain a log of their clinical experiences (throughout the eight terms).
