DC 3157 - SOFT TISSUE MANIPULATIONMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 Basic principles of assessing and treating the soft tissue structures of the body. Micro-lectures present evidence-based rationale, when available, for each of the treatments presented. Hands-on skills include trigger point therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, and muscle stretching techniques. Professional communication skills and management plans as they pertain to acute versus chronic conditions will be introduced.
