This class will introduce the basic principles of evidence-based practice and promote information mastery by using subject specific databases. Student engagement will focus on translating patient health histories from Clinical Practicum I into a clinical research (PICO) question while employing appropriate types of sources and research. Health literacy will be introduced to students through self-reflection of their role as future practitioners and members of the health care system.
