BUS 1001 - CAPSTONE FOR NON-BUSINESS STUDENTS: INTEGRATIVE BUSINESS EXPERIENCEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This three-credit capstone course serves as the culminating experience for students completing the Fundamentals of Business and Business Minor for Non-Business Students. Designed to integrate knowledge from core business disciplines-including accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, and quantitative methods-the capstone provides an immersive, experiential learning opportunity. Through a combination of business simulation, guest speakers, site visits, and collaborative problem-solving, students will apply what they have learned in a comprehensive, real-world context. The course emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and teamwork while fostering a holistic understanding of business strategy and operations. A final reflective paper and team-based deliverables will assess student learning and serve as a key measure of the program's effectiveness.
