URLGY 5475 - INTROUCTION TO ROBOTIC SURGERY UROLOGY ELECTIVEMinimum Credits: 0 Maximum Credits: 0 This two-week elective is designed to give an overview of Robotic Surgery across multiple specialties, with emphasis in Urology. Students will attend a weekly conference to discuss minimally invasive surgical cases in Urology, attend didactic lectures discussing robotic surgery technology and discuss the rationale behind utilization of robotic surgery. Additionally, students will complete a robotic surgery simulator curriculum and observe different types of robotic urologic surgery, general surgery, gynecologic surgery, and thoracic surgery.
