DENT 5389 - CLINICAL DENTISTRY FOR PATIENTS WITH SPECIAL HEALTH CARE NEEDS 1Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course is designed to provide clinical experiences in the area of special healthcare needs dentistry for predoctoral dental students. By the end of the clinical course series, students will be able to demonstrate competence in assessing the needs of, and in providing care to, dental patients with special healthcare needs at the level of a general dentist and will participate in a variety of additional experiences to increase skills in caring for the patient with special healthcare needs.
