BIOSC 2220 - ADVANCED BIOSTATISTICSMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course provides an advanced, model-driven survey of statistical methods in the biological sciences. The first part of the course, led by the instructor, will cover general and generalized linear models, maximum likelihood, model selection, model validation, and mixed models. The second part of the course, co-led by students and the instructor, will cover other advanced topics of interest to be selected by the students. We will use R extensively throughout the course.
