ECON 3340 - TOPICS IN PUBLIC ECONOMICSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This is a survey course of topics in public finance. The purpose is to acquaint students with a broad range of classical and contemporary issues in public finance. The course will be divided into several topic areas; taxation; expenditure analysis; economics of political processes; control of externalities; regulation; and fiscal federalism.
