CSD 2084 - SCIENCE OF IMPLANTABLESMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course will focus on the underlying physiology and psychoacoustics that contribute to the development and implementation of electrical and bone conducted stimulation as an input to the hearing system. A historical perspective will inform current research and clinical application in this area. Students will leave this course able to compare and contrast current signal processing strategies used in implantable devices. In addition, students will be able to critically evaluate future signal processing strategies in a patient-center manner based on the the underlying knowledge provided through this course.
