HAA 2441 - EXPRESSIONISMMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 A history of the development of modernist art in Germany from the founding of the "bridge" group in 1905 to the "death" of German expressionism in 1920. Although primarily focused on the art of the "bridge" and "blue rider" groups, the course will also situate this art within the broader context of German art production during these years (academic art, Jugendstil, secession, dada).
