HPS 2590 - EINSTEIN 1905Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 1905 was the year for Einstein the patent examiner. In papers in Annalen der Physik, he proposed the special theory of relativity, e=mc2, the molecular account of Brownian motion and that light energy came in quanta. In preparation for the centenary of 1905, we will study these papers which laid the foundations of modern physics.
