In this course, students will be introduced to local anesthesia and gain an appreciation for the important role of its use in dentistry. Areas of focus include pain management, pre-operative evaluation, pharmacology, and technique. This course includes lectures and class discussions. An opportunity for hands-on application of concepts will be provided.
