DSANE 2270 - POST-DOCTORAL MODERATE SEDATION 2Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 The course will foster an appreciation for the important role of pain and anxiety control in dentistry. The resident will demonstrate proficiency in technical aspects of nitrous oxide anxiolysis, conscious sedation, patient management, and the pharmacologic use of medications. All aspects of anesthesia will be undertaken in the clinic. The resident will experience hands-on management of intravenous sedation from pre-operative evaluation to discharge.
