COMMRC 2014 - ARGUMENTATIONMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course interrogates argument as a product, process, and method of inquiry, using a variety of theoretical approaches as points of departure, including pragma-dialectics, speech act theory, controversy studies, informal logic, visual communication, and forensics, as well as critical perspectives such as invitational rhetoric and feminist argumentation theory.
