THEA 1112 - CONTEMPORARY BLACK FEMALE PLAYWRIGHTSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This is a lecture and discussion survey course that explores Contemporary Black Female Playwrights from 1990 to the present day. Students will examine these works through historical and cultural context and a contemporary lens. Student written, oral, and introductory performative presentations will analyze play texts, express critical engagement with the literature, and investigate these rich works.
