PSY 1137 - CLOSE RELATIONSHIPSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 A seminar-style course examining adult close relationships (with an emphasis on romantic relationships) from a social psychological perspective. Topics covered include interpersonal attraction, commitment and interdependence, relationship cognition, attachment and insecurity, communication, sexuality, conflict, relationship dissolution, and relationship maintenance. Class meetings will consist mainly of facilitated discussions and student-led presentations.
