PEDC 1006 - JIU JITSUMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 Jiu jitsu is a method of defense without weapons using hand, foot, and hip techniques combined with grappling and choke holds designed to render your attacker helpless and to help you gain more self-confidence. Jiu jitsu is not a contest of muscular strength. When practiced properly a smaller person can easily defend themselves against a larger person.
