CHE 0314 - TAKING PRODUCTS TO MARKET: THE NEXT STEP IN CHEMICAL PRODUCT DESIGNMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Traditionally, chemical product design has focused on a set procedure for product development from conception to development and testing and finally the launching of the product. Unfortunately, this model which does not keep in mind the values or needs of the customer has resulted in a high number of failures for new product launches. What skills are thus needed in order to be entrepreneurial and succeed in the development of new chemical products within industry today? This course is the next step in the chemical product design sequence and focuses on chemical product design and the development of business plans.
