BUSERV 1925 - COST ACCOUNTINGMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course has three objectives: (1) to develop an understanding of the broad range of cost accounting concepts underlying cost determination and analysis; (2) to provide familiarity with the controls that are afforded in the application of cost accounting concepts; and (3) to create an awareness of how cost accounting can contribute to decision-making and planning. These objectives are accomplished through analyses of the behavior and economic data within the firm, evaluation of actual and standard cost systems, and the examination of cost measurements.
