BIOSC 1390 - FIELD TECHNIQUES IN ECOLOGY AND CONSERVATIONMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course uses field demonstrations, hands-on research experience, and field trips to provide training and skill development for students interested in ecology and conservation. Students learn common techniques for surveying aquatic and terrestrial organisms, such as birds, mammals, fish, amphibians, insects, and vegetation. Students also learn experimental design, and how to apply proper field techniques and appropriately compile and analyze data.
