ANTH 2741 - ANTHROPOLOGY OF LAWMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will examine anthropological analyses of law and law-like phenomena in a number of different societies, concentrating on the development of theory in this field. Since this theory reflects larger theoretical developments in anthropology and in post-war social science, the study of the anthropology of law is a case study in the development of modern theoretical paradigms.
