PUBHLT 0430 - REAL WORLD APPLICATIONS OF HEALTH DATA WITH SASMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This is a course on hands-on data management, simple, descriptive statistical analysis and presentation of health data using the SAS statistical software package. The course consists of lectures and lab sessions, during which students practice in a guided manner what was taught during the preceding lectures. Working on a group project, students get real-world experience in preparing data for analysis, applying simple descriptive statistical and graphical procedures and communicating their findings to their peers in oral and written (in terms of a scientific abstract) form.
