STAT 1292 - TOPICS IN APPLIED STATISTICS 2Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is a gentle introduction to the field of data science and machine learning. Major topics include data import, data wrangling, data visualization, training, tuning, and testing various machine learning models, and generating reproducible reports. Python basics and a collection of packages, such as Jupyter Notebook, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-Learn, will be studied within the context of solving data science problems.
