PS 1389 - RUSSIAN AND EAST EUROPEAN STUDIES MINI-COURSEMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 An intensive program that takes Pitt students to Washington DC during Spring Break, to meet with Central Asian diplomats, water issues policy makers, federal agencies (including the State Department and the Bureau of Indian Affairs), and lobbyists. The course will provide students with a set of experiences and contacts in understanding the water issues on a global scale as well as the particular concerns of water in Central Asia.
