BIOSC 1221 - URBAN ECOLOGICAL FIELD STUDIESMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This course provides extensive field experience for undergraduates and will focus on developing the skills necessary for any practicing ecologist. Students will be involved in all stages of field projects including both individual and group exercises. Using a combination of lecture, extensive readings from the primary literature and hands-on field projects, the instructor will assist the students in gaining a proficiency with the background knowledge, thinking skills and technological tools necessary to conduct empirical ecological investigations.
