CEE 1341 - DESIGN OF STEEL STRUCTURESMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 A course on the design of steel structures based on the load and resistance factor design (LRFD) philosophy. Fundamental topics related to the design of tension members, columns, beams, beam-columns, floor systems, plate girders and steel connections are treated. Issues in stability, fracture and fatigue are also introduced.
