BIOSC 1120 - BIOSTATISTICSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces students to foundational theory and methods for the analysis of biological data. Specific approaches include basic descriptive statistics and visualization, hypothesis testing, categorical analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA), simple and advanced regression techniques, and experimental design. Emphasis is placed on using software to apply these methods to real biological data.
