SURG 5375 - SURGICAL SPECIALTIESMinimum Credits: 0 Maximum Credits: 0 Four-week course designed to teach the essentials, knowledge and skills in the management of common diseases in the specialties of otorhinolaryngology, orthopedics, ophthalmology and urology. Learning accomplished through didactic lectures, prepared written syllabi, case reports, multi-media computerized instruction and clinical experience in offices of university faculty. Assessment of student performance accomplished through a multiple-choice examination, objective evaluation of clinical skills, and estimation of clinical expertise in the ambulatory setting.
