LCJS 1570 - PRINCIPLES OF HOMELAND SECURITYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines the challenges facing our domestic public service and justice personnel in the context of a borderless world of globalization and technology. Attention is paid to problems of terrorism, incident management systems, violence incident response procedures, changing federal, state, and local response planning and security issues, mass casualty programs, crime scene operations, the evolving role of the intelligence community, and the balance of security and liberty.
