CHEM 2330 - ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRYMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 A single-semester two-credit lecture course focusing on the mechanistic and synthetic aspects of state-of-the-art organometallic chemistry will be offered. Understanding how organometallic structure and electronics influence reactivity patterns will provide students with predictive tools for interpreting and exploiting organometallic reactivity. The course will focus on the thermodynamics, kinetics and stereoselectivity of main group- and transition metal-mediated reactions having applications in organic synthesis. Academic Career: Graduate Course Component: Lecture Grade Component: Grad LG/SNC Basis
