This course examines the principles of drug action. The course covers the basic priciples of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Particular emphasis is placed on the concept that the rational use of drugs is based on the understanding of the interactions, signaling mechanisms, and functional outcomes at the modular and cellular level.
