IE 2188 - SIMULATION MODELING AND APPLICATIONSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Introductory graduate course to the concepts, technology and applications of discrete-event and hybrid simulation. Covers the foundational concepts of simulation and the application of those concepts using commercial software. Topics include simulation, modeling, validation, input/output analysis, animation, and project success skills. Students will learn to use the Simio commercial simulation product as well as how to conduct/manage simulation projects. Practical experience will be gained in a simulation project.
