HAA 2640 - 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ARTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The 20th century in china was a period of tremendous change. Artists and the society in which they lived crashed into the modern world to struggle with the weight of tradition as well as the draw of the new. We will consider this period and artistic visions of it by looking at arts including printmaking, painting, film, installation and other synthetic and combined forms.
