CLRES 2107 - COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS RESEARCH AND PCORMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course will define Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) and Patient-centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) and highlight the history and current national efforts in promoting CER/PCOR for drugs, devices and other interventions. The curriculum will include topics on the conceptualization, outcome measurements, engagement of patients and stakeholders, study designs, and analysis methods used in CER/PCOR studies. The course is project based and students learn how to define their own CER/PCOR research question and design a research project to answer the question.
