ENGR 1075 - ENERGY DEVELOPMENT, USE, AND IMPACTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will serve as an overview of energy engineering for both non-engineers and engineers and will be taught in a combined lecture/seminar format. While the course is broadly based it does not cover all aspects of energy harvesting and use. Topics include the history of energy use, the types of energy used (fossil fuel, nuclear, renewables, energy efficiency, energy economics, and climate change). Because of the seminar format, some topics can be covered more fully than others.
