ANTH 0681 - INTRODUCTION TO HUMAN EVOLUTIONMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This is an introduction to human evolution and, in general, the evolution of the larger group to which we belong, the order primates. We will survey first the development of evolutionary ideas and modern developments in biology and geology and then review the diversity of living and fossil primates, dwelling especially on the discoveries and controversies surrounding our own evolutionary past.
