FMST 1271 - AMERICAN FILM 2Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course explores the development of American film from 1940 to the present. The course examines the evolution of American film style and genre, the history of the American film industry, and the relationship between Hollywood cinema and the broader cultural context of American society. This is a Critical Studies course and counts for Category I towards the Film and Media Studies major and minor.
