Professionals in the field of communicative disorders are often called upon to provide therapeutic, consultative, and referral services for hearing-impaired patients. It is the purpose of this course to allow the student to become familiar with the bases for providing these services. Specific ally, the areas of assistive communication technology, and counseling will be covered relating to hearing-impaired adults.
