CHE 2870 - SOLIDS PROCESSING AND TRANSPORTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Particle technology affects as much as 80% of the chemical process industry, yet is often omitted from the undergraduate curriculum of chemical engineers. This course is designed to give advanced undergraduates as well as early-term graduate students an introduction to this rich and diverse field. Topics will range from fundamentals (particle classification, properties, and flow) to applied (hopper design, mixing, etc. Industry related examples and designs with be presented.
