BFIN 2129 - ENERGY PROJECT FINANCEMinimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course will cover all aspects of infrastructure project finance with a focus on the energy industry. We will look in depth at why project finance exists and who the players are, how deals are structured and investors evaluate opportunities, the unique contractual issues and risks in the transactions and the specialized financial modeling and analysis. This course is designed to provide students who are interested in the energy and other infrastructure-reliant industries (like transportation or real estate development) with a practical understanding of how large-scale projects are financed in today's marketplace.
